I have a ZWO Advanced Electronic Autofocuser on order at HPS for another telescope, but I’m curious if anyone has tried, or knows one way or the other, if this could work on my Celestron C11 (a CG-11 from 1995 if I remember correctly). High Point says it is known to work on more recent SCT’s, but makes no assertions about older models. Thought? Experience? TIA.

ZWO EAF with 1995 C11?

I built my own ZWO EAF bracket for a C8 before the commercial ones came out. And built a bracket for the C6. Raw materials from Home Depot.
It would be best to have a drill press and calipers for the job.
It's possible to attach almost anything as long as you have bottom-tapped holes near the focus adjust shaft.
Would be helpful if you could post a picture of the back end of your scope. Depending on what that looks like, it may be possible to buy a commercial bracket and modify it.

I will do that! Might be a few days before I get a chance, however.
