LIGHTWEIGHT - less than half the weight of cast metal
IMPROVED RESULTS - significantly increases mount performance & image quality
CARBON FIBER COMPOSITE - CAD designed & produced using the FDM process (fused deposition modelling)
ARTICULATING DOUBLE HINGE  – powder coated stainless steel  - rings "wrap" around tube for extra grip 
MACHINED KNOBS – CNC hollowed & knurled aluminum red (with hex bolt)
MODULAR DESIGN- various compatible & lightweight dovetails and handles

NO PAINT or ANODIZING- that can chip or be scratched off

It's great that your Tube Rings are available in a bunch of different sizes waytogo.gif  , since Orion Telescope went out of business and no longer offers its rings.

There are 70 individual parts in a pair of these rings.

 

Body parts are FDM printed carbon fiber composite (engineering grade with high modulus carbon - not generic consumer grade), internal hardware is CNC machined stainless steel, powder coated stainless hinges, Aluminum T6061 anodized knobs.
