The GRS is currently at Jupiter's central meridian.

I observed the GRS transit using the Naylor Observatory's 17" f/15 classical Cassegrain. I used magnifications of 116, 144, 162, 170, 216, and 259x, with and without a light blue filter. The best views were at 170 and 216x.
