Good morning,

If the weather is nice (unlike for the moon eclipse) I will try to watch/take pictures of the solar eclipse.

I know for the eyes, special glasses exist, but what do I need for my scope/DLSR ?

Is just a special filter in ront of the scope enough, or is there other stuff to add ?

Thank you !

You are correct a full aperture filter that covers the front of the telescope is needed. Also grab some glasses for your eyes!

For my telescope I made a full aperture filter out of Thousand Oaks solar film.
