Can anyone suggest a well suited  plastic wagon to carry my AVX mount, 12b weights, and  tripod - TKS

I can do one vastly better!!!

Go to someplace like Sams, Costco, Walmarts, or heck  Amazon ect, just google collapsible wagon. No need for one of the expensive ones but I promise it will carry your mount and other stuff with no effort and you can take it with you to dark sites. They are MAGNIFICENT for carrying our equipment around and packs up super fast and easy till next needed!

Hello Gustave,

Why buy a cheap plastic wagon when you can get a sturdy metal cart that will last for not much more in cost. You can easily adapt the metal cart with foam to cradle the mount and all of your gear.

HAPPY SKIES AND KEEP LOOKING UP Jethro

Here are cart selections from Harbor Freight and there are many others available at Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply, ect...

I HIGHLY recommend Gorilla Carts/Wagons.

I got this one (I don't think it was this expensive), but I can haul anything in it.  You wouldn't need the dump function, and there are varying weight limits but the one I got is extremely stable, huge tires for yard and stairs if you are careful.  Gorilla is an awesome brand in general and their carts did not disappoint me.

I bought mine at Costco. Folds flat has big wheels. Supposedly can hold 400Lbs. I've not tried it.  It does carry my Losmandy G11G with no issues across a parking lot or rough terrain without to much trouble.

I've used my wife's single wheel folding wagon to move my 60+ pound mount and associated in batches.  The one sold by Harbor' has dual wheels which could be better over non-paved surfaces the single wheel version I used had trouble with.

Folding serves transporting wagon to dark sky sites while adding padding inside eases handling.

Big wheels on a cart are good for astronomers!
