I have a 2 year old Lunt MT60 and just got around to trying it at night (been having a lot of fun with solar imaging!).  I took out the blocking filter and tried to image Jupiter with my ZWO ASI462MC.  I was not able to get into focus (not enough inward travel).  Any ideas appreciated.  I usually use my 8inch SCT for planetary.

Keep using the 8" SCT! A 60mm scope will not give you a good image of Jupiter, especially at its present tiny size.

So would the 60MM be good for DSO imaging?

Sure, if you can track perfectly.

At 60mm, it would be good for some wide field DSO targets with a better camera.  And assuming that you have a good mount and guiding.
