Hello All,

I am in Japan for 10 days. I need suggestions on what equipment is better/cheaper to buy in Japan. I am open to any equipment under 500 dollars.

My main target is to get filters for astrophotography, mainly the narrowband, light pollution filters.

Let me know the sites and also physical stores which are there where I can go and have a look at them.

Masuyama, Takahashi, Nikon and Pentax eyepieces are all much cheaper in Japan, at least compared to European prices.

I can recommend the store Kyoei-Osaka in Osaka. They have some employees who speak English.

Clear skies!

Canon IS binoculars from Kyoei-Osaka!  (although you can just order those from Kyoei-Osaka in the US as well)
