After an extended period of foul weather, Clear Sky Chart indicated a morning window of clear skies with average seeing, so I set up the LS100 and was rewarded for my time.

Note the hummingbird which popped in for a look as I pressed the shutter release.

   Glad you were able to get out. Here in cloudy Vermont we are having a good number of clear days this March after a pretty harsh winter. Feels so good!

   I wonder if the hummingbirds like red anodized astro-goodies. Maybe somebody somewhere is hanging their old entry level ZWO cameras by their feeders to really bring them in...

Two of my favorite things, Lunt 100s and hummingbirds.

There are 3 licensed hummingbird banders in IL and I’ve had the pleasure of being an assistant to one lady for well over 15 years 

Of coarse observing with a Lunt 100 is another pleasure

This little guy was buzzing around the backyard for a half-hour or so; don't know what brought it in as we don't feed birds of any kind.
