Hi,
despite the nearly full moon and mediocre seeing, the last two nights were clear over Paris so I took this opportunity to image a pair of rather bright and contrasty galaxies in Ursa Major with my recently home-made 10" f/4.8 astrograph, a 2.5" Wynne corrector, an ASI183mm and an AP900 mount from my Bortle 7 backyard.
First M106 which needs little introduction. The wind was rather strong (about 40km/h), which made accurate tracking difficult even for my AP900 mount. I kept 270*60sec in luminance and 25*60sec per color channel (click for full-resolution):
Second NGC3953, a beautiful barred spiral near Phecda, about 60 million light-years away. I kept 330*60sec in luminance and 30*60sec per color channel (click for full-resolution):
Thanks for loolking and clear skies,
Dan
