Morning:

Does the Dew Shield on the Standard provide a good solution for 'Dewing' on the Corrector, or has anyone tried a Heater?

Trying to keep my Corrector 'Dry' as I really dislike Cleaning it.

Regards;

Chris

I use a screw on dew shield, supplemented with anti-dew strip set on low heat when necessary.  Same method that I use with my Astro Seven Questar.

I have not encountered a problem with dew on my 1969 Standard. I wrap a slender strap of Velcro to my tube to keep the dew shield from slipping when it is fully extended. I remove this narrow band and wrap it around the dew shield when it is retracted for storage. This is the thin version of Velcro used for wire bundles and blends in fairly well with the tube.

Enjoy!
