Just purchased a 2nd D610 to complement my stock version.  I am thinking of modifying this one to be full spectrum.  Does anyone know what the actual hot mirror filter size is? (length by width by thickness)

Recently modified a D70 with a "JGS1 UV Grade Fused Silica Quartz Glass Window disk deep UV Grade" sold by Tangsinuo Technology on e-bay.  It turns out they offer a 29*25*1mm window that is a perfect fit for length and width.  (I may need to adjust the focus.)  From the various videos and instructions available, the D70 is a bit simpler mod than the D610.

Also, is there a verdict regarding whether or not to re-install the dust reduction filter?  Is it transparent to UV?
