I was wondering if anyone has used an AZT6 L Bracket from Teleskop Service? If so, what are your thoughts on this bracket?

I would really like to use altaz mounts with GOTO & tracking with my different binoculars (as small as my 10x50s and as large as my Oberwerk BT127 mm). The issue that I am running into is that many of these mounts have their saddle in a side mounted position.

The only altaz mounts with GOTO & tracking with a top mounted saddle that I am aware of are:

Panther TTS-160 (now discontinued)

iOptron HAZ series

iOptron AZ Mount Pro w/ Binocular Adapter

Emcan EM31 Pro in Alt/Az Top-mounted mode

If you know of any others, please let me know.

I am interested in the AZT6 L bracket because I think that would open up a lot more variety in terms of mount options, especially those available on the used market.

I could also better match the weight capacity of the mount to the mass of the binos (i.e. use a smaller mount with smaller binos, use a larger mount with heavier binos). Stated maximum load for the L-bracket: "Instruments up to approx. 15 kg weight"

I would appreciate any and all thoughts on this particular L-bracket or using L-brackets with binos in general.
