Just playing around with old data to work on my processing routine. Its amazing how much more detail you can see with inverted colors.

It seems that you catch several ovals and the mínima of Encke just to say the less.

...interesting observation that has nothing to do with Mitchell's fine colour invert Saturn: when I posted my reply it was the first response to his thread, but later on I noticed that alvarete's post made 2 minutes after my own had been inserted before mine..?!?

 

Some sort of "time inversion" perhaps rofl2.gif and now today (where originally the times for these 2 replies were 5:58pm for mine and 6:00pm for alvarete's) the times are listed as 8.28am and 9:00am..?!?

 

A break (or 2) in the fabric of the space-time continuum..??? grin.gif
