The sun is WL has gone (basically) bald, and since it was cold, windy, and cloudy in the morning (still is), I just took a shot through the bedroom window with the PST. Here was the result:

Surprised those proms on the NW are still there!  You saw much more sun than I did today!

Thanks Warren! Yeah, they are persistent.

 

It was very brief. In fact, I was changing the zoom a bit and noticed that the disk on the DSLR viewscreen was particularly dark. I looked up, and saw that the sun was being swallowed by a giant section of clouds!
