Just wondering if anyone knows of a spotting scope stay on case that would fit the TV-60 with 45° diagonal. I may occasionally use mine for whale watching from the shore and want to keep the salt air off it. I'll be using a UV filter to protect the objective.

Perhaps Televue can tell you if the case for the TV Ranger which was designed to stay on the scope for birding would fit the 60? Adorama has one of the Ranger cases available for sale. $71 with the zipper over the front objective.

The Ranger is quite a bit longer so I don't think that would work. However instead of a fitted case I might just use a camera rain cover as they're readily available.

Something along these lines might be another option.

I came across a Celestron case that's designed for their 65mm spotting scopes. It was cheap so I've ordered one. I'll report back when I've tried it.
