What a wonderful setup. Smooth and soft.

A great complement for the C-8e (in the backround)

I have the same rig. I currently use it for my Oberwerk BT100SD, and it works great, but I am also thinking of throwing my TV85 on it too once in a while. What is the total lengthy of your scope with diagonal? Any issues with it bumping into the tripod when you are observing near the zenith?

By the way, I apparently spend too much time on CN. I saw the hot water heater in the background of your second photo and immediately thought, "hmmm, wonder if you could turn that into a Dob?"

Thanks!

Tim

Well to say the least I am quit stunned at how smooth the function is.

With the 90t (540fl) and using the 17 and 8 ethos I was just stunned at the views.

I am still trying to understand how best to adjust the head. I need to look for a video on how.

So now I am pondering adding the MF 275 tripod/608 and BT82XL SD (a little lighter weight for G&G) for use at the Illinois house.

Might look into the Pi finder units.

Are you happy with how well the TR3 worked?

For its intended use I think it's a great fit.
