Last year I went down under and started this project :

I was already pretty excited about the outcome by itself, but the whole plan is to complete the 5x2 mosaic of the major part of the Vela SNR.
This year I had another trip to the same location; the weather cooperated, and so the project is done. A total of 80 hours were spent on the data collection, spanning across 11 nights from 2 February trips in 2024 and 2025.
A lot of imagers go for a heavy narrowband rendition (including the recent 200-hour work done by Steeve Body, which I absolutely love: https://app.astrobin.com/i/7bg4cb), but I prefer keeping as much RGB texture and colour as possible, using NB to enhance the colour and texture of the nebulosity only.
