I notice that after 18 months of usage, there is some lateral play in the focusser. If i put the assembled OTA on a table, i can move the camera up or down by, maybe, 0.5 mm.
Clearly, the focusser tube needs to be tightened a bit.... Does anyone know which grub screws in the focusser assembly will adjust the lateral play in the tube?
Thanks
Dave

By trial and error, i have discovered that you can eliminate the play by adjusting the four grub screws at the four corners of the the focussing mechanism - they need a 4mm allen key. If you do up the grub screws too tight, you need more torque to change focus - that so check your focus motor can still rotate.
There are also some smaller grub screws, lower down on the focusser tube (the knobs being on top). Not sure what these are for.
