William Optics has started a "sale" for least some of their refractor lineup.  This is quite a big adjustment.  I wonder if other vendors will follow.

Cat 71 WIFD
Sale price$1,398.00 USD

Geez, for some products there seems to be a massive discount.

The Cat71 was 1798$ last March , its 1398$ now, so 23% reduction

The Cat61 was 1398$ last March , its 1098$ now, so 21% reduction

The Cat51 was 898$, its 798$ now, so 11% reduction

I've not checked the Pleiades, though...

Ultracats and MiniCat prices seems to have been unaffected.

I just bought my CAT61 from a European Vendor, and waited for it for a month...kind of bummed

I’m not sure, but these new Cat91, Cat108, and Askar SQA’s have real good optics compared to the scopes on sale. Maybe they want to move these older lens out of inventory? If one of these manufacturers comes up with a 1-2um scope in the 150mm aperture size, I might ignore tariff increases. Would match up well with a 585 or maybe some new future apsc 1.45um sensor.

I wish they would run a sale on accessories!

That's exactly what came to my mind when I was checking on the new prices :)

There is an ultracat version of all those scopes on the way.
