Stellarium is my favorite star chart, and since our observing group is going to attempt to view 3C 273 this year, I thought I would check the routes to it in Stellarium. I've noticed that the newest version of Stellarium (as of today) is 25.1 and it has a slightly incorrect position for 3C 273. So I switched back to version 24.3 and by searching for 3C 273 or PGC 41121 (one of the alternate names) I end up with a circle incorrectly placed near the correct object. But if I search for HIP 60936 (the other alternate name of 3C 273) the circle is around the correct object, the real 3C 273.
Just thought I would post this in case anyone like me making their first attempt at viewing 3C 273 wants to know what to type into the search bar in Stellarium.
