After testing the off-axis guider on M-81, I decided to turn the telescope to M-13. This image is a stack of 120, one-minute subs taken with the 8-inch EdgeHD, ZWO 1600MC one shot color camera and a Skywatcher EQ6R-Pro mount. The autoguiding was even better for this object than M-81, and because of its brightness 60-seconds was adequate exposure time for the subs. Also captured is the very distant background galaxy IC-4617, which is 500 million light years away while M-13 is only 22,000 light years away. It is located to the right of M-13. To process the subs of both M-81 and M-13, I used the ZWO Studio Suite to stack them since Nebulosity will not process them correctly. Nebulosity and GraxPert were also used to process the data. Because I avoided blowing out the central core of M-13, the "Propeller" is also visible in the image at the bottom of the central core.
