Now, I know I know , having a manual mount on a PE200 is not THE idea, but while working the savings up to AM/Wave level one can't ignore a good catch.
Also good to know that the 3/8" locking pin from the Sky-Watcher AZ Mount Extension Tube works perfectly with the ZWO 85mm puck and the final proof the Twilight 1 tripod is an EQ5 clone not to mention witnessing the power of standardization ! (the fact that they are all made in China might also be a thing...
)
I usually use 2 x SW extension tubes (to get some 40cm - perfect size for me when using the binoviewer) , so I just took the locking pin from one and used it to lock the 85mm puck I had left after exchanging it with the 60mm puck required to make the PE200 compatible with EQ5 tripods.
