The 183 has a really tiny FOV. I can't see using one on a hyperstar or a C14 with a reducer. You should check and see if you're happy with that before buying one. I'm very fond of my QHY 533M with my Edge 11. Very easy to get the BF correct as well.

You have the regular C14 right? (Not the edge version)

The Starizona reducer only works with the regular one.

However the regular version does not have mirror locks so that big mirror might flop around a bit as your mount tracks the object which sometimes can throw collimation off.

I’ve often thought that an Edge version with the corrector lens removed and replaced with the starizona reducer/corrector might be very compelling.

The regular C14 does have mirror locks (and vents) these days.  The smaller regular scopes don't.
