If you were stranded on a desert island, and could only have 3 Astronomy books and atlases, what would you choose? Assume you are in B1 skies, and have access to a decent scope and a red flashlight.

I would choose:

Skalnate Pleso Atlas

Uranometria 2000

Introducing the Constellations by Baker

The atlases were the easy part, the book was tough as I also enjoy Serviss’s books (Astronomy with an Opera Glass, Round the Year with Stars, Astronomy with the Naked Eye) or had contemplated Burnham’s as a great reference.

What would you choose?

Just blank notebooks.  So I'd get the joy of figuring everything out for myself.
