Wow so I’m pretty much a beginner at this point. I thought Plossls were the better design than most but I trust the info I get here more.
As for filters, I just want the best for moon and planets (?ND, red, blue), polarizing? I need to learn more about this before I burden this group with more questions about it.

Thank you!!

Plossls are so ubiquitous at this point it's probably a better list to say who DOESNT make them well.  At anyrate, a nice baseline of 5 plossls is a good set to start with, or finish with depending.   After that you'll kno where you want to go in terms of advanced designs be it super wide angle views or small angle traditional.   There are oculars that meet EVERYONE at their level of needs and tastes.

I will say, the bugaboo used to be that if you wanted those wide open angle vistas you had to sacrifice contrast and such for planets.  These days though, NOW, discerning observers are finding high contrast in oculars folks used to wave a hand at as deepsky only. Pentax gets highpoint from serious observers as do TVs.

Ocular development is always evolving.
