I bought my first scope only 8 weeks ago, C8 Edge plus some accessories including Dew Shield and Dew Controller 2x.  The first time setting up I found the Dew Controller dovetail clamp was defective.  Celestron quickly gave me a same day RMA.  After 3 weeks, no replacement was yet available.  I met a customer service rep at NEAF and mentioned my problem.  Few days later the RMA deparment informed me that new shipments were uncertain and pointed me to a vendor who had stock and promised me a full refund check, which arrived today.  I think that is about the best customer service I have seen with any product, big or small.  I hope the trade tariffs don't change this kind of customer first thinking.

I’ve had great interactions with them as well. Sent my cgx to them for repair and it came back and developed the problem again the sent me another prepaid label and ultimately replaced the mount with a brand new one. Great company that stands behind their products.

OMG  -- Broken on arrival, long delay for replacement,  talking with a top of the line rep at NEAF was no help, then refund cause no fix gonna happen ??  You call THAT outstanding service ??  How about instead they actually QC the thing before it leave production AND keep repair parts on hand when needed ??  Accepting BS like this with a smile is why we have BS like this !!

The Celestron Rep at NEAF did reach out to the RMA dept and facilitated the refund and obtaining which retail still had stock in USA that I could purchase a new one.  Virtually everyone has been out of stock due to the trade war set into motion.  I would love to have only USA options but I remember  Meade back in the 1980's and they didn't have parts on demand or fast turnaround.... hmmm where are they now?

Hmmm let's see..... there are two new Pizza stores in my neighborhood - each making excellent pizza's.  One takes 3 hours longer to place an order and charges 30% more than the other.  Which one will be still around next year?
