Hi everyone, I took this shot of mercury 2 days ago using the celestron nexstar 130slt, an ir/uv cut filter, and a 3x barlow lens. I didn't use my red longpass filter because the seeing wasn't sufficient enough to reveal detail. I think crater kuiper is visible in this shot, but I'll let you all decide.

What magnification was used for the shot? Sorry, not seeing the crater but super cool to see Mercury. Thanks

Can't really tell you magnifacation, there was a 3x barlow used with a planetary camera, the roi was set to 640 x 480.

Many people do not realize how difficult Mercury can actually be to observe! Excellant job! Thank-you for sharing.

Clear skies and keep looking up!
