Nice shot.
But why the NB filter? Usually not used with galaxies.

If SmallRig would 'Hack' this device to allow temp setpoints, it would be compact and ready to use, but not as it is now:

A firmware hack, would be nice.

It's difficult to find an English review of the Gaius S2. I see you're from Spain, where the Gaius S2 is made.  It seems to be a pretty good solution when not using an ASIAir. How long have you had it, and could you tell us a little bit about it? What software is on it, WiFi reliability, how do you connect to it, and your general satisfaction with it? Is it very popular in Spain? I see that Cuiv has a review of it that I need to check out, but all the other reviews are in Spanish, and a bit too fast for me.

Give me a few days and I'll give you my assessment of the RBFocus Gaius S2...

Keep in mind that there are some potential problems that may arise from doing this, namely that given the camera is sealed and there is no desiccant inside there is a solid chance you have dew form on the glass, sensor, and electronics. Also, this mod has been done A LOT on virtually every single analysis I've seen of the sensor temp and various noise measurements shows very very miniscule differences. Usually sensor temp is reduced by ~5Celsius which has a negligible impact on noise. I myself did a couple different versions of this mod, saw almost no differences, and it did not make dark calibration any easier. I also did see dew form on the inside of the camera because the ambient temperature difference from sunset to imaging time was substantial (sometimes 20-30 degrees F). In places where humidity is higher I wouldn't touch this mod with a 10 foot pole.

I receiived the Gaius but made an oversight in not getting the mounting base with dovetail along with it, until Cuiv mentioned it in his review. I'm trying to RBFocus into letting me purchase the STL file for the 3D print file so I don't have to pay another 30eruo postage. Can't seem find a suitable printable file in the usual places.

I found the XT30 power connector inconvenient but located a barrel connector cable with an adapter. I'm looking forward to giving NINA a try and possibly breaking away from the  ZWO cartel.

Thanks for the information.

Sorry for the delay, due to work...
I'm attaching files created with FreeCad, and their export to 3mf.

Sorry, they don't allow uploading these types of files...
Do you know of any way that would allow me to send them to you?
