Mons Penck is a mountain promontory located on the nearside of the Moon. It is located just northeast of the crater Kant, north of Ibn-Rushd and the Rupes Altai escarpment. Southeast of Mons Penck are the prominent craters Teophilus and Cyrillus.
It has a diameter of about 30 km at the base and rises to an altitude of over 4 km. It is named after Albrecht Penck, a German geographer and geologist.
