Hi all! With all the celestron peripherals, I’m trying to use including Celestron auto focus, star sense auto alignment ,, sky portal Wi-Fi doggle not to mention the hand control itself, which is plugged into a another port on my 8SE (where it should be plugged in )I moved from a two port splitter (not Celestron)to a three port splitter in the AUX position on the mount. According to Celestron technical support that’s pulling too much power and they don’t advise using it over an over a 2 port splitter that they make, of course. Even though the new 3 port splitter supposedly is compatible by reviews and description. I know I can take off the hand controller while using the sky portal Wi-Fi doggle like I have, but that defeats the purpose of having a three port splitter. any thoughts?
