To avoid lugging the Barlow to the hardware store, does anyone know for sure what the thumbscrew size is for the 1.8 Barlow? The folks at Televue thought it might be 8-32, but weren’t sure. It’s different from my TV 2.0 Barlow or my Ultima…Mine has gone missing. 🙂

Order one of these on line and you will have the answer to this and similar questions for the rest of your life!

> immediately available when the question arises

> measures the exact item

> can be used to confirm that the hardware store singles indeed match

> no need to ask others half way around the world to check similars for you

> gets you back into action fastest

> allows you to confidently order parts knowing they will fit

> tags you as an expert at work and on the road

> leading to promotions

> leading to more telescopes and happiness

all because you spent a few bucks on a Thread Gauge    Tom

That tool is something I needed many times over the years . Instead I would go through my screw collection one at a time to find the right size . I used to think that my dad was a nut case for saving screws he had or found , then I became the nut case , lol .
