Does the ZWO ASI183MC camera need a IR/UV cut filter? Or is it built in? I can't find a definitive answer.

Yes. The ZWO ASI183MC has protective window over the sensor, but I'm pretty sure that it does not filter UV/IR.

Yes, you definitely need an IR/UV cut filter. A 1.25" filter will work fine.

Yes.  I use a Baader 1.25" UV/IR Cut filter with mine.
