A quick unboxing of a William optics Pleiades 111 on 4/29/2025 reveals a couple of surprises included in the box.

First, the top padding inside the case. It's quite a bit thicker than other scopes I've gotten in the past. About 1.5" (38mm).

Lots of bubble packing around the bits and pieces.

(more to come)

The next surprise was the included ring risers and back spacing shims.

Scope comes with attached M48 adapter but also supplied with M54 adapter. A nice little metric allen key set is included.

All things come in threes, we have seen the packing, the ring riders, what’s the third surprise?

And typical W.O. mechanical quality. Very nice dovetail, rings, cap with bat mask, rotator.

Well, I haven't. Didn't know they were included.

I’ve been interested in the focusing mechanism of those scopes and will interested in how it works for you. Nice.

So far so good. Installed all the camera accessories last night including a ZWO EAF. Found focus easily. Ran a quick test shot and all seems good.
