This was imaged from my backyard Bortle 8.5. No light pollution filters were used.  Seeing was good that night.  I was able to do 90 second subs. Total saturated pixels as reported by NINA 3.2.x was 240 or 0.001% of the total pixels. I may reduce the total saturated pixels upper limit by half for globular clusters.

One hundred and twenty 90 second subs.  Processed with PixInsight.  See technical details on the link below.

Jim- that is really excellent. It just proves that some targets can be imaged under pretty poor light pollution conditions provided the moon is out of the way.

I'm currently enjoying a spell of clear weather in the Midlands of England, clear for the last couple of nights so I'm dual imaging M63 to get around 30 hours of data for that integration. M63 has proved a challenge for me as the results have always been poor under my skies- so I'm hoping for a better result using the Altair 115 & the RASA- but enough of my aspirations!

Well done for presenting such a great image- globulars are surprisingly difficult to process well & you've done a grand job.

The .jpg here doesn't do it justice at all.  The AB photo is really spectacular and great processing!  thanks for sharing.

I always appreciate what people like Jim can achieve in high Bortle# areas with or without filters, nicely resolved globular Jim.
