Perhaps I've missed a discussion, but in looking at Agena's site just now, it shows the country of origin for the other Panoptics to be Japan also.  I wonder if other TV series will be migrating to Japan too?

Were the Naglers in on a Signal meeting, and know something?

Could be. More than likely and also more than likely undercuts on all the other Panoptic focal lengths could be gone on the new batches also.

Brother, I’ve owned a 24 Panoptic for about 20 years now. I have zero need for one. I wanted to make sure the CN family knew that they’re in at Agena. Get ‘em while they’re hot!

What's with Agena, new 24pan on E-bay for $395.00?

Go back and check, Mike? Does it say free shipping? If so, that’s kinda BS because Agena offers free shipping over a certain dollar amount for products, and the 24 Panoptic would be one of them. Maybe Agena has to pay additional charges to use eBay? Or maybe just charging more for no reason. I dunno.

eBay can charge up to 12% more (fees), hence why stuff is more expensive on eBay.

Well, I truly hope many of you that have been after the 24 Panoptic had the chance to grab one (or two) today. It’s been a desert lately to purchase one new or from classifieds. So if you got one, or two, CONGRATULATIONS! snoopy2.gif

One of my other hobbies is coin collecting and I cringe when I see the eBay prices. I look to see if the seller has a brick and mortar and buy outside of eBay usually for 10-15% cheaper.

I bet! A lot of stuff on eBay is a rip off, but there’s a lot of stuff that’s great deals too. Just need to look around a lot on the site.
