Hi all,

I was switching out the camera and when I unthreaded the spacer, the threading component on the paracorr 2 stuck to the spacer and came off. The glass fell out. Please see the below photos.

Could you please advise how I can put these back? I don't want to pinch the optic?

Does it matter which side of the glass should face up?

Also how do I prevent this in the future?

Thank you,

Call TeleVue and ask.

And, after speaking with Tele Vue, put a tiny drop of glue on the retaining ring edge after you screw it back in.

You'll need a tool:

Solved: gave them a call, the lens is symmetric so either side works. Televue also gave a tip that I can use 2 toothpicks to turn the retaining ring.

I didn't use glue. Turn out I am not supposed to use that to attach the spacer. Instead I need to get this TRG-1072: Standard T-Ring Adapter for 2.4" https://www.televue...._table#TRG-1072

Also confirmed with Televue through email that the backfocus can be anywhere between 55mm and 56mm (They mentioned 56mm on one of their page and 55mm on another)

Overall I'm very satisfied with their support. Only wish is they expand support excellence to email since he had to look up my email to see what it's like and email is better for international customers

Don’t use the adapter to T-threads to go to m48 gear, use this:

But yeah, much safer than using the retaining ring m48 ;-).
