Excellent images.  Can you tell me your setup besides the Mew 180?  I have one and love to look at the Moon with it.  I have thought about trying some imaging but don’t know which camera pairs well with it.

I'm quite aware that posts like this one are not too much appreciated. I always like pics with lots of detail or which really do well the used aperture consdered. Comparing with my own visual impressions.

And these ones, sorry, don't show anything I can't get visually with the Skymax6

Yes, the golden Skymax6 @ 330x is my new gold standard and anything better is amazing but everything less is just...
Certainly quite a personal point of view.

The point is, I have the Skymax out there so often that it's indeed my used to view, my second eyeglass for the sky.

Not to hijack this thread, but I have a Mewlon 180c on order for 6 months and due end of May. I not sure that since I already have a Mak 180, and a Mak 150 this was a good purchase? I got the Mewlon from the Tak sale end of last year and have read that it sharper and better contrast than the Mak 180/Mak150 do to no front corrector?

I am thinking that every bet of detail will help as sad to say in my aera the Jetstream makes it very hard to get visually sharp views of the moon.

Thank you highfnum, showing what possible, also I read that the Mewlon focus system is like the Mak's that focusing in and out makes it harder to get correct focus so I got the Tak Mewlon to SCT adapter so I can use an SCT focuser to focus.... More to come...

Thanks again

Christopher
