Hanging in there for Syrtis Major to roll around. Just a glimpse tonight as Mars certainly is a challenge to locate in early evening. But so far I still can get a couple of clips before seeing starts to degrade with night time cooling. Getting focus with the 14.25" is the challenge but the high contrast of Mars helps.

As good as you can hope for at 6"! Good job.

 

 

I used to love the syrtis major side. Now i consider it the boring side - tharsis does it for me, all that orographic cloud etc...oooh!!!
