5-15-25   Dark Nebula, Barnard 152

45 five-minute exposures for about four hours total. Askar FRA300 Pro, ASI2400MC Pro, NBZ-II filter, flats and biases.

I previously imaged the Snake nebula, Barnard 72, and wanted to find some other Barnard objects. SH2-129 (the Flying Bat) wasn't my target.  Barnard 152 is at about 3 o'clock towards Alderamin. I was hoping my wide view would include the Seahorse dark nebula but I seem to have missed it. Just going to something nearby like Sh2-129 doesn't work well. Will try finding them by Ra and Dec. A previously posted CN thread on Barnard 152 here. Barnard really had a keen eye for these dark nebulae. This appears to be a good listing, will try it out.

Can't you find the coordinates on Astrobin?

At the moment I'm imaging the Flying Bat nebula and good to know there is other interesting stuff nearby.

Good idea, thanks! I don't use Astrobin so I forgot about that resource.  Good Luck with the Flying Bat and Squid!

Went back for the Seahorse, B150, and found it this time. Used the 8 EdgeHD with .7 reducer for 24 times 5-minute images (two hours total). Also added another Snake B72, as linked above.

Another one from last night. This is B142, B143, but I believe I am zoomed in on mostly B143. I don't see the "E."
