So I'm not planning to travel anytime soon, but really want to see the beauty of the southern sky. Instead, I'm thinking of getting a Quest and the Stellarium VR application. For anyone who has used it, how realistic is it? Does it really make you feel that you are observing a really dark night sky?

very disappointing its for Quest devices only.

Would love to check it out, but will never allow a Meta device in the house.

I was at one point thinking of getting a VR headset to use with Space Engine. Other priorities took over since then but it is still on my radar. I have it on my computer but no VR headset yet to try it in VR. From what I hear it is pretty good in VR:
