As can be seen from the Satellite view at the time, the best part of my day's view was far from clear sky. But my images show that you still often see more from looking up than from high and looking down
Though todays full disc may not measure so well against the GONG scopes today, can still see where the Sunspots are and also some proms through the cloud and Lunt HRG filter in my DS80,
My quick white light disc (from the two least clouded Vixen SF80 frames!) is as usual, not labelled with the detail given in the GONG post of SgrB2, but being offered as a quick internal reference to the most active regions in my Ha views. Although while 4087 makes a great marker, I could do with another location spot to its right to point to the edge where a big filament looks like a creepy claw reaching in over the sun as if from a 1940s horror movie. In the last image of a Seahorse filament grazing near 4087, I wonder if I may have caught some flaring near a small filaments tether
