The search function for etendue calculator gives a discussion here ob CN from 2019. Is there something new and updated on the www???

Do your refer to the telescope figure of merit that Mel Bartels proposed ? That one is Aperture ^2 * TFOV  ^2, a simple quadratic formula. You really don't need a online calculator for that.

 

There were some discussions since that refine that number a little bit to account more exact light throughput of the scope in https://www.cloudyni...ndue-newtonians
