Hi All,

I am wondering if someone knows if Scott Losmandy "participates" (ie. does he have a CN aka ???) either here or on Herb's site . . .

I have a reason to interact with him and I don't want to just "cold call him" quite yet . . .

at the very least, I'd like someone who knows Scott to reassure me that he's approachable ???

But unless you personally have experience with him, please refrain from just speculating . . .

A Private Message (PM) would help me lots . . .

Best,

Ed

P.S. This question is driven by some interesting 3-d printing stuff & I.P. on a "discontinued item" so . . .

I think - Call the Losmandy office and talk to Tanya.
She’s very personable and helpful. She knows their product line quite well.
Explain what you want, to her, and she’ll set up your call with Scott.

Definitely call, like KLWalsh said.

In my personal experiences, I've been to the factory 3 times. Each time I was made to feel comfortable and like a friend. But I was there primarily to do business.

Scott is very personable, and it's nice to talk to his folks. My last visit was to pick up a second 11 pound counterweight. Delany handled my purchase for me. She is Tanya's daughter. Tanya wasn't there when I arrived. But Scott was.

He usually shows up mid morning, and personally handles his product line. When you get a mount or accessory, he assembled it. That is quality control.

I asked if I could come down and pick up my mount and accessories and there was no hesitation, Tanya told me sure I could come down.

I live about 20 miles north of Burbank on the edge of L.A. County.

I do not think Scott takes the time to frequent forums. He has more important things to do.

If you have something of a business venture, you really should do a direct inquiry. And that starts with calling and talking to Tanya Kennelly. She's the front office.

She can tell you when Scott would be able to talk to you. If he is there and available, he might talk to you then.

But like any business, I would expect you would have to go through the channels to reach Scott.
