Hi!
I own a Pegasus Astro Pocket Powerbox Micro and I can’t figure out how to connect my dew heaters to the correct ports — see the photos below.
Can anyone help me?

You need a dew heater 12V with a Male RCA plug - like this one: https://www.apm-tele...52cm-length-11w
Your plugs will not fit. My dealer said that there are no adapters ... I have to purchase a new dew heater. I did.

I have been searching the net for an adapter but have yet to find one.
Please share the manufacturer's name. Never saw one with a barrel connector until now.

Order regular RCA male plugs from Amazon and solder them on to the correct length. That is what I did and you have no hanging wires then they are all the correct length.

Make sure the heater straps are for 12 volts and not 5 volts.

It's really hard to tell what kind of connectors those are. IF the dew heaters are 12V, and if those are DC barrel connectors, something like this might work: https://agenaastro.c...or-dew-heaters/

It seems strange that there are no adapters. You should be able to fashion some yourself by connecting these:
https://www.amazon.c...s/dp/B097N9TLT5
To these:
https://www.amazon.c...r/dp/B07TGGTXWH
Only tool you'd need is a screwdriver.
I'm not sure why they decided to use RCA in the first place. It's NOT a power connector. I guess it was low current enough not to worry about, but still. Maybe someone out there knows the reasoning.

Until the (shudder) 5 volt USB heaters came out, every heater I've ever seen had an RCA connector. Back in the day I used a variable PWM driver board and built a heater controller with RCA output ports.
When I got my first Air Plus I took some of my old Dew Nots, cut the RCA plugs off and soldered on right angle Male 5.5mm x 2.1mm plugs. The coolest part is I cut the cables to length which cleaned up the cable management. I have 3 rigs setup that way...

I'm going to do this.
thanks

I thought about using connectors like that, but then again a solder connection is always better than form of screw/clamp connection.
Another issue is the individual wire strands are not supported/restrained which exposes them to bending and eventual failure.
Easy is not always better...

Gaiden, I have a much more simple solution, and more local to you being in France.
I'm assuming your dew heaters are SVBony and come with the optional 3-level power switch? If so then the connection from the dew heater side is female 5.5 x 2.1mm.
You just need one or more of these from First Light Optics. I used the same on my rig.
