I know this is a pretty personal request but would someone be willing to share their raw calibrated data on the Heart and Soul. We just don't get to see Cassiopeia from the Southern hemisphere. Happy to swap/trade Southern Hemisphere Bortle 4 telescope time via remote login.

The purpose is simply to process it.

What a cool idea. I'll have to check my library, I think I have some unprocessed mono data of the Heart nebula. I also have some very old raw data that isn't great, I took it in my first year of AP with a full frame SLR and a dual NB filter. It has some serious issues but I'd be willing to share. Alternatively, I'd trade some scope time or data this fall when they get high enough again. The real question is what scope would you want data from? Really wide or close and cropped in. Just for info, I am under B4 skies with bad weather, I only have mono cameras now and my current widest rig is the 76EDPH at 344mm f/l and it usually has a 294M on it so it can do fast imaging at a pixel scale of 2.76 arcseconds (12MP) or slow imaging at 1.39 arcseconds (47MP). It can cover each the heart and the soul but both would have to be a 2 panel pano.

This is the image from that really old data, it likely needs a re-process but it has some internal camera flares that had to be stamped out so not an easy processing.

Riaan, I have other targets you might be interested in in addition to the SHO mosaic of the Heart. Dark Shark in OSC ? Wizard and PacMan in SHO? M81/M82 LRGBHa? M51 LRGBHa? M106 osc and LRGBHa?

During the pandemic, Eyal shared some of his data on some iconic southern targets. It was really fun to practice processing images of things we just can't see from where we are on Earth!

Thank you guys! Thank you Norm for the Data. Privilege on many levels. A Northern sky exclusive, through an AP Starfire in SHO.

Hopefully doesn't spoil broadband OSC for me!

Would love to participate here!

Would happily share my calibrated SHO data on the Soul Nebula, captured earlier this year:

Have always been fascinated by Thors Helmet, but obviously can't capture it myself - if any one could share data on that target (preferably mono/NB) I would be eternally grateful!

/Chris

Edit: Also have a recent SHO dataset for the PacMan to share, if you're interested:

If anyone wants to shoot a Southern target. 72mm F4.9 widefield or 356mm/14" F5 - F20. Broadband OSC... we can give it a go.

ASIair or N.I.N.A

I'm at 30.88° S, 30.34° E or Latitude : -30.90. Longitude : 30.33. 120m elevation. Good view East and South, Reasonable West and  Limited North.
