FINALLY had a clear night. Not the best conditions with some high thin clouds trying to creep in from the south. Later in the overnight we had some dew issues as well. Spring in Texas for sure.
I started the night by FINALLY taking some time to run the RA PEC Train sequence on my LX600 mount with Starlock. That went without a hitch but took until 11pm to finish the initial run plus an update run as well. First imaging target planned was NGC4565 but the sky brightness at the time wouldn't allow the Starlock to lock onto a guide star. So instead I chose the colliding galaxies NGC4567/68 pair.
I had an issue with the calibration frames (i think there was a light leak in the darks and bias frames. It was especially bad for this 2.5 hour capture sequence, 2x2 binning, Gain was LCG equal to 10. 15s subs.
