I recently picked up a SkyWatcher 150 Mak for planetary visual fun.   Using on my CEM 26.   Of course the OTA tube with a massive finder scope makes the balance, a bit off balance.  I've got some counterweight kit on order, but in the meantime I macguyver'd this approach...

• 6mm bolt from Home Despot
• Olde Moen faucet control - drilled and tapped to 6mm

Real stuff should arrive in a week or so...  Balances pretty good though...

In the service, we called it "Field Expedience"! (Take what you have and make something work that wasn't working. Usually involved baling wire.)
