Velcro... Battery... EQ mode... The seestar still fits in the case... No cable twist... Only a scissors to install... No 3D printer required... Improved balance... Cheap...

I even used my s50 upside down in eq mode for southern objects before the official eq mode. Worked great... No problem.

This is what I do with mine and never have to worry.

 

Actually use it on my equatorial mounts AM5N and CEM60, get up to 8 hours of operation.

 

It's a portable 18vc 150W 110ac. Interested, powered by an 8Ahr 18v battery!

But for some reason when using a Plan, Live View is forced on. I can't seem to keep it off. Perhaps my issue.....

I haven’t used plan mode yet. I would not be surprised if that is the difference. I’m hoping plan mode becomes more robust in time. If it ever allows autofocusing by time, number of frames or star size, I will be a fan for sure.
