Hi everyone!

Longtime listener, first-time caller. ;-) I have an opportunity to buy online a secondhand copy (hardback or paperback) of Patrick Moore on the Moon, but one of the attached reviews said the print quality was poor: tiny and faint font, glossy paper, etc. Before I leap at the chance, can anyone confirm or deny the accuracy of this review?

Thanks very much, and be well,

Neal

It appears there is more than one edition and the revised edition is much later than the original and also had a reprint run.  The two editions do not appear to be by the same publisher and paperbacks are mentioned.  Search on abebooks.

The answer then is : it depends.

Hi Neal.

There are two editions of this book, both by Cassell Illustrated. You can see both of them here: https://openlibrary....ooks/OL9524098M

I have the 2006 edition (which shows Patrick riding his bicycle!) and the print quality is excellent. Take a look:

There are a number of Patrick's books on

archive.org. You down load or get a loan out.
