Sorry if this is in the wrong forum...

 

I've been watching the Celestron installers website and noticed that they went from beta versions of CPWI 2.5.7 to 2.5.8 - but the current release is still the 2.5.6 version.  Not being a software developer, is this normal to do or is there something else (buggy code, new feature, etc...)?

You can check "History" in CPWI to see fixes or changes. 

 

A lot of the changes between 2.5.6 and beta 2.5.8 are related to SSAG (Star Sense Auto Guider).

 

Unless you have and use one then stay with 2.5.6
